Drink 131: Strawberry Mint Lemonade Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vodka

  • 1/2 cup Limoncello

  • 2 tsp Vermouth

  • 2/3 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 2/3 cup mint simple syrup

  • 6 fresh strawberries hulled and sliced in half

  • 750 ml dry champagne

  • whole strawberries or lemon wheels to garnish

For Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup mint leaves

Directions

  • Add all ingredients except champagne into pitcher.

  • Stir and allow to chill overnight if possible.

  • When ready to serve, add champagne.

  • Serve in champagne flutes with garnish.

  1. For Mint Simple Syrup

    • Slowly heat water sugar and mint leaves until sugar dissolves.

    • Let mint leaves steep 2 hours or more

    • Strain syrup into jar with lid. Will keep in fridge for up to two weeks.

  2. To Make as Mocktail

    • Double lemon juice

    • Double simple syrup

    • Replace champagne with sparkling water or club soda
