In this episode of The Strange South Podcast, we talk about how Radium during its heyday was used in everything and how terrifying this invisible, naturally occurring, sometimes helpful, element can be.

EPISODE DRINK:

Bourbon Amaretto Sour

  • 1 oz bourbon

  • 1 oz amaretto

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup

  • 2 dashes angostura bitters

  • 1 egg white

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker (with NO ICE)

  2. Shake 15 seconds

  3. Add ice to shaker

  4. Shake 30 seconds

  5. Strain into glass. (Froth will rise to the top.)

  6. (Note: If you like a sweeter drink, increase the amaretto to 1-1/2 oz and the simple syrup to 2 tsp)
