In November of 1996, Richard and Ruth Wendorf were brutally murdered in their home in Eustis, FL. Police quicky determine a likely suspect: a 16-year-old from Kentucky named Rod Ferrell, who claims he is a 500-year-old vampire.

EPISODE DRINK:

Ginger Mint Limeade

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Lime zest
  • 8 oz fresh squeezed lime juice (approx 8 limes)
  • 12 to 15 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz Ginger ale (preferably Fever Tree)
  • Ice

PREPARATION

For Mint Limeade Concentrate:

  • Squeeze limes
  • Boil water, sugar, and lime zest until sugar is dissolved
  • Remove lime zest
  • Add 8oz lime juice
  • Add 1 cup cold water
  • Add mint leaves
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour

For Cocktail:

  • Remove mint from concentrate
  • Prepare a highball glass
  • Add vodka and 2 oz limeade concentrate
  • Top with Ginger ale
  • Add ice
  • Garnish with mint leaves
