In 1926, an unusual explosion released radiation outside the community of Gibbon, KY to the detriment of the town folks. What caused this small community to disappear? Did it actually ever exist? Did we have access to that type of technology back then or was it something else? WE HAVE QUESTIONS!

Never Fear Corona Beer Coronaritas

INGREDIENTS

  • 24 oz homemade margarita mix (see below)
  • 8 oz tequila
  • 2 12oz Corona Lights
  • margarita salt
  • lime wedges

PREPARATION

  • Mix margarita mix, tequila and beer in a pitcher
  • Dip rim in salt
  • Add ice to glass
  • Pour in margarita
  • Enjoy as you are better informed than 38% of Americans who are afraid of Corona beer ???

Homemade Margarita Mix

  • Boil 3 cups water
  • Stir in 3 cups sugar until dissolved
  • Let cool and add to an 8 cup container
  • Squeeze 1000 lemons and limes (Really just 2 cups lime and 2 cups lemon juice but that is about 2 lbs of each)
  • Make sure you have an electric juicer and also I highly recommend gloves
  • Add juice to simple syrup: stir

This margarita mix will make two pitchers of Coronaritas. It can be stored in refrigerator for up to one week and can be enjoyed without alcohol, if that’s your kinda thing or you have children who like “mocktails” ?
