Homemade Margarita Mix

  • Boil 3 cups water
  • Stir in 3 cups sugar until dissolved
  • Let cool and add to an 8 cup container
  • Squeeze 1000 lemons and limes (Really just 2 cups lime and 2 cups lemon juice but that is about 2 lbs of each)
  • Make sure you have an electric juicer and also I highly recommend gloves
  • Add juice to simple syrup: stir

This margarita mix will make two pitchers of Coronaritas. It can be stored in refrigerator for up to one week and can be enjoyed without alcohol, if that’s your kinda thing or you have children who like “mocktails” ?
